A PRICE TO PAY TRAILER
On A Journey To Turning My Late Father’s Book Into A Movie
This is the first film project under The Swan Collectiv3, LLC and Inspired by KSwan, LLC Production Brands.
A Price to Pay is the story of Fred, a black student at a California University. He had been firmly against interracial dating until he met Carol, a white student and daughter of a businessman. Carol, who had been involved with Leslie, a married man working as the manager of one of her father's Laundry businesses, terminated the involvement just before she shared her experience with Fred and became involved with him. Leslie, who objected to the termination, insisted on talking with Carol about their relationship, but Carol wanted no part of a discussion with him concerning the matter.
To avoid contact with Leslie, Carol convinced her father to allow her to work in the newly opened Laundry and Dry-cleaning business near where she lived. One day her father, who also worked at the nearby business, overheard a conversation she had with Leslie when he called to insist on seeing her.
The story unfolds as Carol tries to navigate the consequences of her interactions with a married man and Fred's unlikely involvement with a white woman. Both hoping to cope with the consequences of their actions.

My passion for helping people started at an early age which led to my 21 year Social Work career. I became an entrepreneur in 2008. I started another business in 2012. Started acting in 2014. Dabbled in radio for two years. Started Stand Up Comedy in 2018. Became a published author during the 2020 pandemic. I work or have worked with several different groups of people that are considered vulnerable, including foster care kids, individuals with intellectual disabilities, senior citizens and at risk youth. I am a proud entrepreneur still on the journey and not giving up. My purpose is to live my life in such a way that inspires people to live out their own purpose. It’s not always easy. In the past, I have allowed fear to paralyze me from growing. Once I decided that I was worth living out my dreams, I started to go for it. So until the fear goes away, I just do it scared! And so should you.
